“I’m not allowed to Like You” … Facebook Restrictions!

NO ! NO ! NO !

It appears that Facebook has a limit on how many pages you can like with one account. Is it me or does this sound absurd as my picture?

I just asked somebody to like our new Fan Page for Manifest Your Dreams Publicity and they said, “I’m not allowed to Like You” … Haha! I was shocked!

According to THIS article, The Limit is “500 Likes” however it varies depending on your friend count. The less friends you have, the more you can like. :-/ hmm?

This raises the question: What if some loyal customers have reached their “like limit” ? You want these people to Like Your Page, and they will want to “too” but “they can’t” …

I just hope that Facebook will find an alternative to this absurd restriction soon … an alternative to whatever problem they are trying to fix by saying “I’m not allowed to Like You”

  1. Hey Curt!

Your great title caught my attention!

Being unable to ‘Like’ would be such a shame. As far as I know, FB have never disclosed about page like limits, so I’d be unable to verify if this is actually true just a one-off bug.

    1. I’ve seen it on many reputable sites and even come into contact with the person I was talking about in the article. That’s what made me look it up in the first place broda man! Keep coming back and God Bless! CBiz

    1. Yes Kevin! There are many reputable sites writing about this topic. I believe I included one in the article. If not you can search for it on yahoo search and you’ll find some stuff. Be sure to come back. We need great folks like you here around the community. 🙂

  2. Hi Curt,
With all the changes Facebook is making, I certainly hope they will take a look at this one. I’m sure they are trying to prevent people from creating spam accounts to ‘like’ pages for pay but it could certainly penalize people for having lots of interests. I hadn’t run into this limit yet so thanks for the useful info.

  3. Hi Curt ~ I can understand about Facebook having a limit on the number of actual “friends” you can have on a personal profile, however, like you, I too do not understand a limit on how many “likes” you can actually have. And, the more friends you have, the less you can like?! Crazy! I would think that would be the other way around since you probably have more connections come your way/things to like with the more “friends” that you may have. Christine
